2023 Bosward Alicante

Alicante is a weird but rewarding grape variety. It is the only Vinifera grape that has a red pulp. All red wines acquire their colour from the skins. Our version is made as if it were a white wine using only the flesh

Colour: Burmese ruby

Nose: Cacophony of ripe red berries and fruits laced with Ballarat boiled lollies, anise and Absinthe

Palate: A kiss of sweetness ties the fruits together into a dangerous bowl of party punch, where the ingredients are well disguised. It’s a dangerous and worthy excuse. To be enjoyed from the fridge in summer with ice if you prefer.

12% Alcohol
